ELA- 1.  Read and navigate through the site “Ben’s Guide to the U.S. Government” located in the 
               What is a Democracy for Kids post.
          2.  Watch “What Is a Democracy for Kids.”
          3.  Do EdPuzzle: Democracy vs. Representative Democracy 

Math- 1.  Check you answers to the Customary Weight: Go Math p. 597-598 (I will post the answers 
                after today’s meeting.)
           2.  Complete Customary Weight: Go Math p. 599

Social Studies- 1.  Watch “ What is a Democracy for Kids.” It will help you recall some facts from 
                              the last lesson and also help with today’s worksheet. Watch “The Rules of 
                              America’s Government” and read the United States Representative Democracy 
                              flow chart.  
                        2.  Use what you learned in the video and flow chart to complete the United States 
                             Representative Democracy column on the “How Does Government Work?” chart 
                             and answer questions 1-7.
